With the concept of “penumbra” in mind, and the inspiration by the historical astronomy book by Kepler, I painted a series of painting using watercolor and ink on sketch paper.

Montain and Totem
With the old folktales in mind, I experiement with the traditional Chinese concept of the landscape. Using the fluidity of the mixture of oil and water, the totem and the montain seems escaping from the painting.
